How to calculate time difference in Excel

Hi

Please help to calculate the time difference, cell A1 contains 7:00 AM and cell B1 contains 8:00 PM how want to calculate difference between the time.

Just subtract one from the other.

If you want the result in hours then you can do this:

=(B1-A1)*24

and format the cell as general or number.
