Hello,
I have a check box that when selected will return the value from another cell. However, if this box is not checked I would like to allow user input.
For example:
=If(A1=True, B2, "")
But if i were to place this code in the box and the If statement returns false, when the user inputs they will overwrite the code.
I am using a Form Control and not very familiar with coding. Sorry if I am confusing!

and in C1 write a header: "If you do not use standard value, write your proposition below" or something similar.
As a general suggestion - it's usually much easier to answer, if there is an attachment with "sample situation" and expected output.
