Help with finding Min of an array that occurs once and and never will again.

Thank you for your help in advance.

My problem is I have two columns, A & B. Column A consists of Date starting from today to 20 years from now in monthly increments. Column B consists of my projected balance every month.

I am trying to come up with an equation to find out what date in time will my balance never be less than $2000 ever again.

Re: Help with Equation

Please take a moment to read the forum rules and then amend your thread title to something descriptive of your problem - not what you think the answer might be. (think google search terms?). Once you have done this please send me a PM and I will remove this request. (Also, include a link to your thread - copy from the address bar)

Many members search our previous posts, and thread titles play a big part of the search. I doubt anybody would do a search based on your title?

To change a Title on your post, click EDIT POST then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

(note: this change is not optional )
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

Perhaps this will help you out. This formula gives the date after the last time a value is entered that is less than 2000 (cell E2)
Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

...confirmed by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to activate the array, not just ENTER. You will know the array is active when you see curly braces { } appear around your formula. If you do not CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER you will get an error or a clearly incorrect answer. Press F2 on that cell and try again.
