I have created some forms for my company using Excel 2013. The forms have several drop-down boxes that work fine on my computer, but when I share them with others the drop-downs will not work. I think that the other users will have different versions of Excel (2010, 2007, 97-2003). Is there any way to make these drop-down lists usable on the older versions of Excel?
What happens? Do you get an error message? Do you not get anything in the drop down? Where is the source data for the drop downs? How do you reference the data? What, exactly, do you mean by "drop downs"? Is it Data Validation? What happens if you try to edit the Data Validation?but when I share them with others the drop-downs will not work.
Suggest that you post a sample workbook with some typical data ... the version that works in 2013 so it can be tested in other versions (and hopefully fixed).
