What would some sample data and answers look like? Not sure I understand what you need here
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

I am just trying to covert a calendar date into a fiscal month name with fiscal year 7/4/15 to 7/01/16. Example 08/07/15 would convert the date to JUL, 08/08/15 would covert to Aug.
Still not understanding what you want Cant you just format the dates to just mmm?
I can't MMM for example "the fiscal month of September runs from 9/05/15 to 10/02/15" so I need 10/02/15 to still call out Sep.
I never have to work with fiscal/financial years/months but it seems like everyone has their own version!
So, to the casual observer this is rather confusing to have a date period start/end on a date other than the 1st or last day of the month.
I suggest creating a table and using a lookup function.

That is kinda why I asked for some sample data and expected answers
why formula?? how about just formatting
right click & select format cells
custom
type mmm and enter
for example: 10/15/2015 = Oct
