    formula to determine probabilities

    Hi All,

    I'm embarrassingly a novice.

I'm trying to create an excel spread sheet with 10 football games -- each will have a percent probability... and i'd like for the program to determine the chances of winning all 10, exactly 9, exactly 8, exactly 7, exactly 6... all the way down to exactly 0...

    Obviously the probability of winning all 10 would be -- cell 1 x cell 2 x cell 3.... x cell 10

    And the probability of winning exactly 0 would be -- (1-cell 1) x (1-cell 2) x (1-cell 3) ... x (1-cell 10)

Can anyone help me with this formatting...

    Thanks,
    Mitch

If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.

To change a Title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
