I have to manually enter a series of letters and numbers to identify some stuff at work, the first 6 digits are always the same and the last four are unique. My question is, is there a way for me to only enter the last four unique digits and have excel automatically fill in the first 6?
Are you entering in the same column in all cases?

instead of typing
BDBD112233
I want to be able to type
2233
and have excel automatically change it to
BDBD112233
when i hit enter or just exit the cell
or even just have it start entering data at a specific point without me having to double click and type at the end of the sequence
Format the cell into "BDBD11"0000
(it is the last option in the cellformatting).
after that type your 4 digits and you will see the expected result.
Notice my main language is not English.
