    Changing Time Format

    Book11.xlsx

Hello, I am exporting a web page using the query, and my data shows up (Cell A2) as 36:04:00. So, that's saying 36 minutes and 4 seconds. Is there anyway I use a formula to get this to say one of the following:

    1) 36.04

    2) So 36 minutes and 4 seconds is really 36.066 minutes when broken down in the format I want (36 minutes and then 4 seconds/1 minute = 36.066)

It would be amazing if someone could help me create a formula so that I can add 2 row on the right so that everytime I export the data in the 36:04:00 format, it changes to the 2 options I need.

I looked through format cells thinking I just needed to change something there, but no luck.

    Thanks for ANY help!

    Re: Changing Time Format

multiply 36:04:00 with 24 and with a celformat general you get 36.0667

With text to column and the formula (time?).

    See the attached file.
Notice my main language is not English.
