Vlookup text from Multiple cells and show data from another column

Hi

I have different lists of data and need to show a master list on one sheet with all the info. I do this with vlookup. But On some lists the name of the individual shows as
- first name And surname (I.e. Jason Brown in A1)
- surname, first name then middle name (I.e. Brown, Jason Jones in A1)
- first name, middle name, surname (I.e. Jason Jones brown in A1)

So if I have in cell A1 'Jason Brown' I need to vlookup if 'Jason' and 'Brown' appear in a cell and then display the contents of colum B.

Is there a way to do this, maybe with an array?? I am a hit stumped.

Maybe this will help you.
Prepare a listing of all the names in their various forms that are found in your lists and beside them enter what you want as the normal name for all the various forms of the name. When this is done, this list of names can be used to convert the names in your lists to a standard name.
