Hi all,
I am having an issue with excel hanging up. Whenever I open the find/replace dialog, excel will hang when I initially begin to type something in the input. Also if I try to close that dialog, excel hangs.
This happens on a totally empty worksheet or one with data.
I have tried disabling the hardware accelerator, changing the default printer, and some other things I have found.
I have the same problem when running Excel in safe mode.
Any ideas?

Post Attachment: Click [Go Advanced] under the reply box; then click [Manage Attachments] to launch the attachments dialogue.
Mark Thread Solved: Go to the top of the first post; Select [Thread Tools] dropdown; Pick the [Mark thread as Solved] option.
I would start off by going to the Control Panel, select Office and click on Change and do a Repair of Office. Following that go to Windows Update and force a search for updates (Left hand panel of Windows update, Check For Updates).
Try Excel. If problems still persist, go to Excel click on File, Options, Addins, Manage Excel Addins, click GO and deselect everything. If all works then go back to the addins and add one back at a time until the bad addin is identified. If there is a bad addin, do a search on say Google to see if there is an update or replacement for the addin otherwise operate without it.
