I am having a problem removing an outer border that has begun to appear on printouts (pdf and hard copy) of a spreadsheet.

The spreadsheet itself is shown in the screenshot Spreadsheet.jpg. The outermost cells of the table have a genuine border around them that I have placed there using cell formatting.

For historical reasons there is a zone of rows and narrow colums around the table; this can be seen in the screenshot.

I have always been able to select a print area that is one row and one column wider than the table itself, and this printout has had a single border, as intended.

But lately I am getting a double border when the print area includes these extra rows and columns - so clearly there is a 'page border' command somewhere that is switched on. I have searched for it in vain.

This can be seen in the pairs PrintArea1.jpg and borders1.pdf and PrintArea2.jpg and borders2.pdf.

Any idea how to turn the outer border off?

(Apologies if the attachments are embedded - I couldn't find any option other than 'in line'.)
