Ladies and Gents,
I'm having quite an interesting issue here. I build an excel workbook that uses power-pivot to query data from several flat files. It works like magic, except there's a gremlin I can't seem to find. It works fine on for all users except one.
Here's the strange part, when he do a refresh all, he gets an error. However, if he opens power-pivot and refresh, it works normally.
The error message is: OLE DB or ODBC error: The Microsoft Access database engine cannot open or write to the file ''. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view and write it's data.; 3051.
I am able to replicated the issue on my pc at a different angle. The refresh all function works fine for me, but if I open up the workbook connections tab and do a refresh there, I would get the same error.
I should mentioned that no one else have the workbook open, and even if they do it should work normally.
Thanks for reading.
