Count of records based on the filtered data

Hi Team,

Need a help!!!

i have a base data sheet contains "EmpID/ Year of Dashboard/ Final Status". The final status consists of "OPEN/CLOSED"

with out applying any filter in the base data if i apply the "Countif" function to know how many records at each employee level it gives the numbers properly.

but when i apply the filter on the "Final Status" (e.g Finalstatus = Open) and then count the records at each employee level then it still gives the same number for each employee available in the base data.

how do i get the count of records at each employee once i apply the filter. is there any way a function is available to get this output.
