"Click and Drag" mouse scroll button not working

Excel Version: 2007
OS Version: Windows 7 Pro


The "Click/Drag" function of my mouse's scroll button/wheel is not working on one specific sheet of a workbook, but is working on everything else. Panes are not frozen. Tried the "Scroll lock" thing, nothing is working. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

If it helps, I did recently "hide" (after trying to delete crashed excel numerous times) a lot of columns/rows because the excel sheet got unreasonably large and full of tens of thousands of blank columns and rows.


edit: Also, this is a shared workbook that is accessed by 3+ people at usually any given time. No one is logged into it currently aside from myself.

I'm definitely not an Excel "pro" quite yet so any advice on fixing either of the aforementioned issues would be massively appreciated.

This is just ONE worksheet in a workbook with 10 sheets in it. Clicking and dragging with the mouse wheel works on every sheet but one.

You say this is just 1 sheet, but is it also a specific area on the sheet, or all over on that sheet?
Do others who share the file, have the same problem on that sheet?

Not that I know of? When I check the Review Tab, the "protect sheet" button is grayed out.

And yes, it is the entire sheet.

Also, the other people sharing the file do experience the same issue on the same sheet.
