If cells are blank, ignore them. Multiple formulas!

Screen Shot 2016-04-28 at 18.24.45.png

Hi,

For the attached photo above, I want the blank results to be ignored. If you see the number 2 right at the bottom, it currently registers them as draws.

Thanks.

I see that you fixed the problem from your initial thread, based on my suggestion, but gave no reply that it fixed your problem...

While we cannot make members at least have the courtesy to respond to suggestions made, those members that make a habit of this behavior, tend to not get many responses to future requests.

Also, your attached file does not match your picture - which I advised you against posting in your other thread
And this is why we request sample files

You have a trailing space after the 2nd Villarreal - remove that and you should be good
Probably would not have seen that in a screen shot
So, with that said, explain what you want, please
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

surely if they are both empty (neither side scored), that is a draw too?

Sorry, I didn't make it clear, if it is 1-1, 2-2, 3-3 etc, it should be classed as a blank, if both fields are blank, I would like it ignored. Thanks

What answer are you expecting?
this gives 0
=SUMPRODUCT(($M$2:$M$11="Real Madrid")*($N$2:N$11>$O$2:$O$11)+(($P$2:$P$11="Real Madrid")*($O$2:$O$11=$N$2:N$11)*AND(N2:N11<>0,O2:O11<>0)))

Unfortunately, if I put Barcelona and Real Madrid, as 1-1, that doesn't change to 1. And yeah, at first, the answer should be 0
