Im trying to do conditional formatting on a cell that contains time in it
So basically the formula to me would be: =if(C10+0.00347=>O2) then the text would turn red… I am having no luck getting this to work help please

You don't usually have an IF statement in a conditional formatting formula - it is usually a formula that evaluates to either TRUE or FALSE. Also, you would write it as >= not =>, so try it with this in the CF dialogue box:
=C10+0.00347 >=O2
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Try this formula in conditional format
=$C2+0.0347>=$O2
And Apply Format
Thanks.....
Thank You.....
Hi,
As a CF tryFormula:Please Login or Register to view this content.
You don't need an IF test.

Thanks for your help.. it sorta works not sure causing to work for some and not others though...I am applying it to c9:c18
Then (with C10 selected) the condition should probably be:
=C10+0.00347 >=$O$2
as I assume you want to compare with O2 for all of those cells in your range.
Hope this helps.

I do and its still working correctly I think it has do with the adding of the time to C10 (adding 5 minutes to time ten comparing)
Depending on the degree of accuracy you actually want you may wish to consider adding .00347222222 since comparing a time plus .00347 with a time plus 5 minutes will give you a False.
You might need to include a ROUND() somewhere.
