Changing the folder names twice in one year is excessive, but I digress
Recently, my IT department was instructed to rename several folders that I use.
I can easily change any formulas the will need to access the recently renamed folders.
However, I am challenged by the need to change the foldername (source data) in the charts.
My source data and the charts are in two separate files in the same folder.
Source Data: c:\data\sourcedata.xls
Charts: c:\data\monthlycharts.xls
IT changed the "data" foldername to "NewData".
Now the monthly charts are searching for data in a file location that no longer exists.
I now have to go through 24 charts per month with average 3 data sets per chart. I need to change the Select Data Source 864 times.
Is there a more efficient way to Search a Chart's Select Data Source and Replace it with the new folder name???
Thanks in advance.
