Wanting to know if its possible to do the following;
I want to link some cells in Workbook A to Workbook B - This seems to work no worries, right click on the cell and paste link into the other Workbook
However I want to be able to link the formatting between 1 cell on Workbook A and Workbook B
Is this possible?

Short answer - no. Formatting is cosmetic, not data, and formulas work with dataHowever I want to be able to link the formatting between 1 cell on Workbook A and Workbook B

Is it possible to have
C:\Folder\Master.xlsx with 3 x sheets (Alpha)
C:\Folder\test\alpha.xlsx which is completely linked to the sheet on the Master workbook?
