I prefer to use a free program called CCLEANER (Cee Cleaner). I would allow the program to delete all those unneeded files, then reboot the computer and see if the issue remains.
FYI - although you can use Windows DISK CLEANUP, it does not clean the TEMP folder within the Windows directory, as CCLEANER does - hence my recommendation for CCLEANER. Note - there are other programs that work the same, some free, some paid, but cannot assess the efficacy of them.
If this does solve your issue, I would recommend re-booting your computer at least once a week to allow Windows to perform some needed maintenance.
