    Excel databse: Pick out only specific dates

    Hi

    I have made a database in excel, and now I would like to extract events that have occurred from Jan to Apr in 2011-2015.

    How do I do that? The normal sort function will not do the job as I need to get out 4 months in 2011, 4 months in 2012 etc...

    Hi.. Just Put below formula before your data which will show you which data to Sort...(Assuming Date is in A1:A)
