Conditional Formatting with Vlookup

I've got a table that I am posting into every day for sales. I placed a conditional format to highlight errors as green and another one to highlight if the customer paid the right amount as what we charged in red.
I paste the data in from another report every day.
I noticed that the conditional format does not include the data I pasted in as part of the conditional formatting range. It excludes it.
Why does this happen and how can I fix it?

Use paste special format first. Then paste special values.
