Hi folks,
I have a file that has formulas that I have locked out.
I need to add a second tab to get charts and pivot tables.
Is it possible to have the second tab unlocked?
I do not want to have a risk of the formulas being corrupted

Menu / Review / Protect Sheet
The first tab is a shared tab and it is locked.
I tried to get unprotected the second tab but no luck
What I've read online about Excel 2003 (Your bio above says you are using version 2003) it is possible to "lock" one worksheet and leave others unlocked. If the entire workbook is shared & locked, here is an
article to review for removing the 'lock' ... Link. You commented that the worksheet is 'shared' ... I'm not certain from what I've read that only
one sheet can be designated as 'shared'. Seems like the entire workbook would be locked also.
I don't have 2003 ... I use 2007, so I'm assuming there are slight differences between them. What ever suggestions I make would be based on 2007 and may not work for you.
If these comments don't help you, and if you are willing, you could send me a copy of your file (I'll send you a private message with my email) and I'll attempt to unlock the workbook for you.
Does any of this assist you ?
