We both have copies of a file downloaded today.

The file is a .txt file

We open excel navigate to the file and open get the import data dialogue

select delimited and data has headers

    select | as delimiter

    select all columns as txt

change the date column to date dmy

    finish

filter date column expand 2016 scroll down to bottom of months I see November he sees October

We both have the same version of excel(2013)

Dear Bob : Plz clarify below points :
    > Your file type is Text Document or Rick Text Format
    > After open file from excel, which "File origin" you have select?
Same function which you mentioned in your post, i tried in excel 2007. Its works perfectly.
Share your original .txt. file. Kindly upload / attach file.

    AVK thanks for the reply
The file is a .txt file.
in excel I go open file navigate to directory with file and select
all files from the dropdown bottom right in excel so I can see the file
and then select the txt file.

It works perfectly for me to but when my colleague does it or when I have tried doing it on his workstation we
get the current months data missing??

"After open file from excel, which "File origin" you have select?"
not sure what you mean by this?
