How do I sum the numbers in a column for dates within specific months for certain codes. For example.. from a list of bills, I want to sun the total for food for that month and a separate sum for money spent for fuel, etc. I have column for date, code for item F=food, L for logding, etc.. and a column for amount.
I am using a Mac Air El Capitan, Excel 2011.
