I'm trying to get the conditional formatting in this spreadsheet to recognize when "MM" shows up, but it's not.
I think it has something to do with the way the instrument outputs the value as "MM ", but if I include the space in my conditional formatting criteria, it does nothing.
The first sheet is my analysis sheet, the second sheet comes from an instrument. The cells marked in gray are where the conditional formatting is.

Hi,
I added two spaces after the MM in the applicable CF and it worked for me.
Or you can do a FIND/REPLACE on column G of your "Instrument output" page to delete any spaces.

Try this instead...
1. use Use Formula, instead of Contains
2. use this as the formula...
=SEARCH("mm",B7)
1. Use code tags for VBA. [code] Your Code [/code] (or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
