    Time formula help

    Hello,

I need urgent help regarding formula for time, I'm still new with excel so I'm not sure which is the best one.
If possible with condition formatting so it's not too complicated.

Let say, the schedule time are these: 7:00 am, 8:00 am, 9:30 am

If actual log in time match the schedule time then I want it to highlight.

And if actual log in time is: 7:01 am, 7:59 am, 9:35 am - I also want to highlight all the actual time that didn't match the schedule time.

How would I do that it base on the minutes not the hour?

    Re: Time formula help

    Hi, welcome to the forum

What you need to understand about dates and times in excel is...

a date is just a number representing the number of days passed since 1/1/900...and then formatted in a way that we recognize as a date. So, for instance, today (Sun Mar 2017) is actually 42813

Time is actually a decimal part of 1 (day), so 06:00 AM is 0.25, 12 noon is 0.5 and 18:00 (or 6 PM) is 0.75
