    How to use filter for specified column only

    How can I use Filter for specified columns only. Here I have attached a excel file. There I want filter in Column C (field:TYPE) and in column E (field: STATUS). Thank you and hope to get solution.

    Have you tried a simple autofilter? Does that not do what you want?

    This is an AND filter. However if you want an OR filter you'll need to use an Advanced Filter with a Criteria range.

    Alternatively and more elegantly just apply a Pivot table to your data.
