Delete empty rows - UsedRange - Not working

Hi all,

Since a few weeks, I've the following problem : I can't reset anymore the "UsedRange" of my Excel worksheet.

I've isolated the problem by exporting the problematic worksheet into a new workbook. In that sheet I've only one button and two used rows like here below illustrated.

UsedRange should be $A$1:$B$3 but Excel doens't agree and mention that the last row is 56,714.

I've used, I think, every thing : delete rows, entirerow.delete, clear, clearformat, ... Since years, I used a VBA "CompressWorksheet" code and that code doesn't work anymore.

Damned !

I've used Google a lot these last days "delete empty row", "reset UsedRange", ... but nothing works.

Can somebody help please ? In attach, the demo worksheet.

Damned !!! You're right ! Incredible, I've tried almost everything except that.

I've just add the following line at the top of my VBA test code and it's working now.
