Autofill cells with month/year

hi All

I have been browsing the forum trying to see if this has been solved previously but I have not found a post. So apologies if this has been posted before.

I have a two sheet excel file. on the second sheet I have the breakdown of the cost of the services what I want to do is in a table on the second sheet have cell Q8 which links to the date cell on sheet 1, I then want the following cells Q9, Q10, Q11 etc to autofill.

E.g. Q8 = August 2017

Q9= September 2017
Q10= October 2017

Sounds simple but I haven't figured out how. As they say if you don't ask!

You can simply type in August 2017 for example and drag it down or across and it'll do the months like you want?

Q8 is Date:

=EDATE(Q8,1)

Q8 is Text:

=TEXT(EDATE(1&Q8,1),"mmmm yyyy")

Xandler I wanted something that would do it automatically so I didn't have to drag as the dates are over different columns. Thanks for responding though.
