    Exclamation Issue with graph

So I have a set of data (the y-values being under 1) and for some reason, although I think I've selected the data correctly, it appears as a straight line on my graph. Can someone please help me solve this? The end result should not be a straight line and should be a curve. I have attached the excel workbook to this post and the data/graph I'm concerned with is at the very bottom. Thank you.

    Re: Issue with graph

    Welcome to the forum!

Will you please attach a sample Excel workbook? We are not able to work with or manipulate a picture of one.

    1. Make sure that your sample data are REPRESENTATIVE of your real data. The use of unrepresentative data is very frustrating and can lead to long delays in reaching a solution.

    2. Make sure that your desired solution is also shown (mock up the results manually).

    3. Make sure that all confidential data is removed or replaced with dummy data first (e.g. names, addresses, E-mails, etc.).

    4. Try to avoid using merged cells as they cause lots of problems.

Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment, so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

Please pay particular attention to point 2 (above): without an idea of your intended outcomes, it is often very difficult to offer appropriate advice.

There is no graph. What data are you plotting on Y and what on X?

    Re: Issue with graph

I am so sorry, I uploaded the wrong version. The correct doc is now attached. I want to plot the colorimeter readings on the y axis and the volumes of CuSO4 on the (bottom) x axis. And while I'm here already, I'd also like to ask if it were possible to make two x-axis (one for the CuSO4 volumes and one for the NH3 volumes). Once again, the data I'm concerned with is at the very bottom. Thank you!

    Re: Issue with graph

Most of the problem is caused by the CuSO4 values being stored as text (look out for the green triangle in the corner of the cell).

Once again, thank you so much, but may I ask you one more (probably stupid) question? What is the difference between the two versions you sent me?
