Hi, I have been trying to create a cryptocurrency portfolio on mac excel 2015 however one of the features I am missing is to make the price update itself in regular intervals. I would ideally want the data to be fetched from https://www.worldcoinindex.com/ or http://www.coinmarketcap.com/. Any ideas how I can do this? Worldcoinindex provide their API if that is of any use.

Using Get Data from Web in Excel 2016 I just scrapped the CoinMarketCap website. I don't know if your 2015 Excel can do this. Is 2015 on the Mac?
See the attached that took me about 2 minutes to do and I can update the information with a click of the mouse.

Hi yeah I am using excel 2015 version on mac, I see what you have done. Here's the link to the google sheets version: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1893488949 right now all I need is for the current price of each coin to be updated on live trades. The rest of the data such as 24h volume and market cap is not required.
So are you using Excel or Google Sheets for this?
The template was provided by another trader using google sheets so I just downloaded it and used the excel version. I linked the google sheets version because I couldn't attach the excel version.
By the way about cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is the most popular crypto currency now. Bitcoin created a lot of noise around. In turn, I intend to invest money in bitcoins. I read the article about buying bitcoins here, but I want to hear recommendations about the purchase. How much $ can I earn on Btc? I still didn't decide whether to own the bitcoins.
