File coding for Russian cyrillic data

Hi

I'm struggling to export Russian Cyrillic data for Contacts out of Salesforce.com. I'm not sure how best to tackle the export and what file coding I need to use to prevent Cyrillic data from corrupting. Any advice gratefully received!

Could you post an exact link?

I don't think that I can, that would be readable outside of my company's SFDC Org. :-(
Plus it's also Contact information, so I'd have to be careful about where that information was shared.
