Hello Everyone,
This is my first post.How do I subtract a value from a specific cell from a drop-down box with a list of numbers? As shown on the image attached, I would like to choose a number from QTY dropdown box E2 (1 - 5) and then subtract the number from a specific cell e.g. C2 which currently has a value of 10.

Normally you would just have a cell/column where QTY in stock was inputted, maybe F2 then hide it and then C2 is "=F2-E2".
We could give you a more complicated solution but might as well keep it simple.
(the complication problem is having a cell being both the place you input a value and the place that displays the new value)
If you want something done right... find a forum and ask an online expert.

I mean something like this.
hide column F if you want.
I added the drop-down because you said you had a drop-down there.
In future its easier if you upload excel files and not images then we don't have to guess.
