I just bought the excel 2016 for $110 just so I could put my hands on the power pivot but it’s missing. I already checked the COM add in but no power pivot there. Does anyone what’s the issue is?

this is Ex2016 pro plus?
maybe try Power Pivot is not on the ribbon

Did you try suggested link?
or try this:
- Click File > Options.
- Click the Advanced tab and scroll down to Data.
- Check the Enable Data Analysis add-ins: Powerpivot, Power View, and Powermap box.

Okay, I finally solved it. I deleted excel and installed it again. And, then I deleted the register key and it worked!
it means that you have uninstalled OFFICE completely and you have removed OFFICE key from the registry and then installed the new version
