Copy Hyperlink Path to Another Cell but Keep Text Format???? HELP!
I am looking for a way to copy a hyperlink path from a cell to a different cell but keeping the text of the second cell if that makes sense? So lets say Cell A1 has a hyperlink with the name "Cell 1". I'd like to copy the hyperlink path to Cell A2 that will also keep it's "name" of Cell A2. Maybe this is more simple that I think.

Close! Remove the result field though. The result cell would be the "Cell Text I Want" cell as well. I need to take the link location from B2 and transfer it to C2 without changing the text of C2. Does that make sense? I could always add the extra field to make this work they way you screenshotted but it would just be inefficient.
Excel does not have a way to paste "link only" into C3 whilst retaining the original text in C3
But you can do it the other way round
Using my example file:
- copy C3
- paste special "values" to B3
Link is retained in B3 and cell text in B3 becomes what you want
- now you can delete C3
(tested on Excel 2016)
