    Forecasting Accuracy Model

    Hi,

First time posting so apologies if a little unclear.

I'm wondering if it is possible to lock a calculated value in?

    So my issue -*

My forecasts are built from the past 3 months historical data (so week 1 (month 1), week 1 (month 2), week 1 (month 3) create week (month 4) forecast)

Now as I add more actual data in - which I can then compare actual vs forecast.

But when I add in new actuals - this update the next month's forecast, however, I want to be able to lock in a 3 month period at a time of forecasts.

-is this possible with a formula or VBA coding? (useless at VBA but will give it a go).

My only solution so far is copy and paste the values over the top once generated, but that's*not an option I'm allowed! haha

    Thanks.

Your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Do not crosspost your question on multiple forums without including links here to the other threads on other forums.

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

We are here to help so help us to help you!

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this, and then please edit your first post to include links to any and all cross-posts in any other forums (not just this site).
