How to Calculate numbers of days past

Hi all.

How to calculate numbers of days past from specific date up to day?
I have a sheet that show Order OPen and Order Close" and I want to calculate the numbers of days between the "Open and close".

Simply subtract previous date to latest date means =(Order close date-Orderoper)+1

What if Order still open not yet close

Then in such case you can use If condition like = If(Order Close date="",TODAY()-Order open date,"")
