    Excel test for Junior Levels

    Hi All,

I am planning on creating an Excel test for some of our employees. The tests should be beginner to medium levels. What do you think that would be the best choices to add in it? No VBA required.

    Thanks,
    Paul

Re: Excel test for Junior Levels

this is really subjective as people have varying levels of what they determine as Beginner

generally speaking, knowing your way around the spreadsheet
    how to
    • insert simple arithmetic into cells
    • open workbook, save, print
    • format cells, borders, fonts, colours, etc
    • know how to use the ribbon

probably if your going to test someone who is going to work there
i would suggest something relevant to their task rather than random tasks which they may or may not actually use

    note:
some people may know what things are without actually knowing what they are called also

Yeah, I was gonna create a test mostly with formulas, drop down, conditional formattings, etc. Not simple, neither difficult.
