Question Populate data from specific range in multiple tabs into one master tab

I am trying to keep a weekly log of rail cars trans-loaded for my company. I have a tab for each week, and i'd like that data from those weekly tabs to populate over into a monthly tab. I have tried a few formulas, but i've had no luck

The data I would like to copy from my weekly tabs is in cell range J:M of each tab (formatted exactly the same). I need the data from each of the weekly tabs to populate into cells A:D of the monthly tab. How can I make that populate so that I only have to input the data into the weekly tabs?

I can get the data to populate over, but it required me to add that formula every time I want to copy data, that is very time consuming.

    Welcome to the forum!

It'll help others help you if you can upload an example of your workbook with data desensitized and your desired results manually mocked up.

This is a common error many users make. Unless there is a compelling reason to have each week on it's own sheet, it would be far better to have ALL data on 1 sheet, then pull any summaries/extracts/etc from that sheet. It smplifies all sorts of things.

What Ford said. If you have all the daily data in one place, then you can parcel it out into weekly, daily or whatever buckets you want.

Furthermore, if you have it organized correctly, you can do the work with pivot tables which figures out how much data you have and group it together without or with minimal use of formulas.
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.
