If you have Excel 2016, then you will need to purchase the full version of Office 2019. However, take the opportunity to look at an Office 365 subscription: it's incredibly good value for money if you have 3 or more family members who can use it, and you always have the most up-to-date version of the software. I've been using it now for about 3 or 4 years, and I have not looked back.

Yes, I'd recommend Office 365 subscription as well. It now gives you access to PowerPivot on top of Get & Transform (though Office 2019 may as well).
In my opinion, best feature added to Excel in long time.
And as AliGW mentioned, it supports installation to 5 devices with single subscription.

Installation on five devices, but you can share it with friends and family on top of that. It's actually even better than it sounds.
