Help with calculation of customer retention rate in Excel file (Cohort analysis)

    Hi all,

Please help me to calculate the retentaion rate of customer over months

    For example,
    - In January I have 4 new customer.
    - In February, 3 out of 4 continue to purchase my product > retention rate is 3/4 = 75%.
    - In July, 1 out of 4 purchase my product > retention rate is 1/4 = 25%

I did a example below. Please help me with the rest of the table

    Thank you so much

Please try E25 copy over the table

    =COUNTIFS($C$4:$C$20,$B25,E$4:E$20,">0")/COUNTIFS($C$4:$C$20,$B25)

Your post does not comply with Rule 3 of our Forum RULES. Do not cross-post your question on multiple forums without telling us about your threads on other forums.

Post a link to any other forums where you have asked the same question.

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

I have added the crosspost reference for you today. Please comply with this and all our rules in the future
