Printing - Fit to 1 page still too small?

    Excel365 desktop.

I set my print area, go to page setup and select Fit to 1 page wide by 1 tall.

It looks a bit small, there are big white borders. I go back in and it says it's at 81% of normal size. I can increase this to 95% without it spilling over onto a second page, so why doesn't "Fit to 1 page" set it to 95% and save me a bit of trial and error?

Appreciate if anyone can answer (I think this one has been bugging me for years to be honest!).

You can maybe change the margins (page layout tab)

Tried that thanks but I set the margins as narrow as they can be still the same issue. Yes there's a workaround (change the % to 95%) but I don't get why "Fit to 1 page" doesn't do this for me.

Set the print area to print only the range of interest.

File attached (I hope). The print is set to 95% but clicking on "Fit to 1x1" and it prints smaller.

    Hi

It sounds silly but when I print from view /Normal it seems to print as expected. Page Layout(as download File) might be the cause.

    Cheers
