Help with attendance tracking

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and thank you so much for letting me post my first post here.

I'm working for senior non-profit organization and would like to ask if you guys can help to make a spreadsheet for seniors attendance.
I can make barcode and also have a scanner I only need a software to track who's coming in for a week and monthly report.
I don't need option of clock in and out but just only want to know who's in.
Would you guys please help and I would love donate for your work but again this is a senior center and the organizer won't have much to spend.

You would need to attach something you have as a basis or starting point.

Go Advanced -> Manage Attachments -> Upload

Sorry for not knowing the rule.
I only find this sheet online and think that it can work but don't know how to make the code for barcode scanner.

A barcode scanner is just an input device, so you click in a cell and scan a barcode then the result of that code goes in the cell.

There is no making of code.

So do I need to make another sheet to store name+barcode and point it to a front sheet where it should be in for attendance?
