Data entered, saved, close file, open file data gone

Hi All

Using win 10
2013 Office
All updated, and I repaired in the hope that the 'stella repair program' said it would help (it didnt)

Opened my file, entered new data (a lot, 4 months of sales) always I save using save or ctrl & S
Close file
Opened file a few days later to fins all NEW date missing (meaning: the NEW data I entered is NOT there, but the data from the file is there)
Like i said I ALWAYS save, and even when closing i always read the dialog boxes.

Guys I need this data, as all receipts from the sale have been entered (new data) and of course the receipts have been binned
