to attach a file use the "go advanced" below this window then midway down use manage attachments then browse to the file, upload, ok, ok and that should work.

You need to click Go Advanced below the reply window first. Then scroll down below that to Manage attachments.

i have no idea what happened there, and i would edit that post instead of posting again but dont want to risk removing the attatchment.

Need a bit more details. Which sheet are you referring to in post#1? Which cells are you trying to delete? Delete? or Clear contents? Need some specifics here. We are not mind readers and don't really know what you are doing? By the way, if a cell has a formula in it but the value in the cell is "", then that is not blank. A blank has nothing in it. So please clarify what you are attempting.

the first two sheets have the info put in. the first is probably the best to use as an example, its all the black cells (done using conditional formating). i want to delete those cells and move the rest to the left. and i guess it would be the "" cells then, sorry want aware it was distinctly diffrent from a blank cell.

Re: trouble deleting blanks made by formulas

i manadged to figure it out. had to use find and replace looking in formulas to replace the "" that was making the blanks with something unique i could use the find function for, then using that found all that were intended to be deleted hit ctrl+a to select all and then just right click and delete.

sorry for wasting anyones time and if i was snippy earlier.
