Can't find image in the Excel file

Hi excel gurus,

I am new to the forum and here is my question: I have a large excel file with multiple tabs/macros etc. I need to upload this file to our HR system as a template.
When I am trying to do so, I am getting an error message and it points to some picture file, that supposed to be in the file.
The name of this file media/image1.png.
When I open excel file as dump, I can see a reference to this file, but can't find it in excel to remove.

Can somebody please me and provide some ideas?

What do you mean by : "open file as dump" ?

Just to be certain, have you tried removing the "reference" ?

I just opened the file in any viewer.excel_embedded image.png

.
Is there any reference in the macros code signifying this same image ?

If so, comment out that line of code and see if you still get the error message.

Having your workbook with the code to review here would be very helpful.

Thanks for your help. I tried your idea to search macros and could not find any references to this file.
Unfortunately, I can't share the worksheet due to confidential information. I know it probably would be much easier. Sorry.

Just a comment ... if the workbook isn't overly large, you could remove the confidential info.
