I dont know why is this file 18 MB , its less than 600 filled cells only text, no formulas, no tables, no charts
could anyone help with this ?

Something must be bloating it, so time to investigate.
1) Convert to a .xlsb and see if the size decreases.
2) Check for the last row. Ctrl + End. Where does that take the cursor? To the end of the data?
If it doesn't take you to the end of the data then you need to set the last cell.
