    Rosters

    Hi guys,

I was wondering if theres a way i can have an automated rostering tool that works out 4 weeks in advance. for example, I'd like it to take into account store opening hours, colleague hourly contract and fill it in automatically and i'd just have to make small adjustments? Would be amazing if someone could help me out with formulas etc?

    many thanks,
    Mikey

Formulas depend on the criteria. Open/closed hours, how many Employees, etc.

Here is a start for you. (Don't worry about the Holiday Schedule yet, this template is set up for Canadian Holidays).

Uploading an attachment will assist Forum Members in finding the correct Solution for you. Create a dummy worksheet if necessary, add your start data and show where / what your expected results should be. TO ADD A FILE:

Go to 'Advanced. click on 'Manage Attachments. Select 'Browse & Choose your file, Select 'Upload and then close the Attachment window.

hey buddy, thank you for getting back to me,

I was wondering if it would be possible... like for opening hours its 4am to 9pm. and about 12 colleagues but they all have different contracted hours.

    Thanks in advanced

Use the template and write over the day column formulas to show me what you expect to see for each employee. Use the ABCD column and use a unique identifier that will trigger the contracted hours. For example 9 - 1pm could be A, 9 - 5pm could be B, and so on. Leave the fake names for now and repost the template using the instructions below.

I may not get back to you until tomorrow though.

In the meantime you could try and follow the formulas to see why they say days aft & nights or remain blank because that is where we are heading.
