    Screen not updated

    Hi
I'm in Excel 2010 in a new place of work. I've inherited a file, and added some sheets in it. I have a strange problem but only in the sheet I've inherited, not in the sheets I've made. And I got a colleague to test the file, he experiences the same as me.

Here's the problem. When I change a cell with a value, the cells depending on it seems to overwrite the numbers with the new numbers but it doesn't erase the old numbers, so I have two numbers on top of each other. Which is mostly unreadable. But if I do PgDn and PgUp, the problem is gone.

See below, 5th line left: -9965. On the left, -9965 is clear. In the middle I've changed a value it depends on, and you see two numbers on top of each other, -9965 and -8470. Then I do PgDn and PgUp, and on the right you see only -8470, the screen is updated.

    Any ideas?

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy) so we can have a look at it

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

File attached. Try to change AF15 to 85, and watch e.g. V15, two sets of numbers on top of each other. PgDn and PgUp will clear it.

    Re: Screen not updated

Found a not too good solution. Save it as Excel 97 file. Then open and save as normal Excel 2010 file. Problem gone. Probably need a new version of Excel

    Yes - I'd say so.
