Reshaping several excel sheets into one panel data base

    Good day everyone,

I am working on my thesis, and I have separate variables from OECD on excel sheets. Individually, the variables are already in a panel format. The problem is that sheets only show data from the years available even though I have a filter from 1985 until 2019 (i.e. I have GDP growth from 1985 until 2019 for a certain country, but the same country's interest rates data is only from 1990 until 2019). I find that severely problematic because I do not know how to prepare a database due to the possible mismatches that would occur If I'd delete the respective variable's year column. If I only want one data sheet, how do I merge them all together? The attachment below visualises my problem. Cheers!

    Hi, welcome to the forum.
BTW, MsOff ver: Office does not tell us a thing, THAT is NOT a version
Have you tried creating a single table what you're showing in your post is quite unclear
For starters you could reduce it to 5 columns and the maybe you can play around with a Pivot table to achieve what you want. the way the layout is now will not work.
I suggest you also attach a sample file, will make it easier to explain / understand and maybe help you with this
